Yaz

Yaz gelmeli artık!

Iskeleden koşa koşa kendimizi maviliğe bırakmalıyız acilen..

Masmavi bir gökyüzü, hasır bir güneşlik, saçlarımda deniz kokusu, köpük köpük dalgalar.

Buz gibi bir deniz.. Özgür mavi..

Yaz gelmeli, acilen!

Murat Hüdavendigar Camii

Murad I commissioned this mosque in 1365, which was completed in 1385. Hudavendigar Mosque is a typical Bursa type or inverted 'T' type of mosque with three iwans facing an inner court with a pool. This latter section is enclosed by a dome with oculus leaning on pendentives. The iwans and the six small rooms  flanking them at the corners are all barrel vaulted. The main iwan which is raised from the ground and larger and higher than the other iwans, was used as a prayer hall. The inner court on the other hand was a kind of circulation area between the rooms and iwans. There is a five-bay porch on the entrance section that leads to a vestibule before the court.

Gölyazı- Lake Apolyont

The alternative name Lake Apolyont comes from the lake's greek classical name Apolloniatis (Απολλωνιάτις), (modern Gölyazı), an ancient Greek city situated on its banks which had considerable importance since it was on major trade routes.
The lake, which is in unprotected status, was declared by BirdLife International as an Important Bird Area in 1989 for itswaterfowl species of international character and species, which are globally threatened.
It is a large lake, covering an area of between 135 and 160 km² depending on the water level, but very shallow, being only 3 m deep at its deepest point.
The lake contains eight islands and one other that is sometimes an island and sometimes a peninsula.

So here are some photos of Gölyazı.
